We stayed in our own villa. It was a round hut with an outdoor shower and bathroom connected to it. Here are a few pics...
The bed had a mosquito net over it... it was a good thing too! I got devoured our first night at dinner.
The second restaurant was called the Push Cart. It serves traditional Jamaican food. I got the Curry Goat and Tom got Jerk Chicken. The food was really good, but the Jamaicans apparently don't take the bones out of their meat before they cook it. They just chop it all up bones and all. It was a little hard to eat. You had to pick out all the pieces of bone. So we only ate there once.
When we weren't eating, we spent a lot of our time at the pool. The pool wasn't huge, but the view was beautiful. The second morning we were there we saw a dolphin jump clear out of the water twice! It was such an awesome sight!
There was a little bar right by the pool that sold these coconut drinks. They hacked off the top of the coconut, poured out a bit of the milk and then mixed in some rum with the remaining coconut milk. It was pretty good and it was fun to drink it out of the coconut!
Since the resort was on the side of the cliffs and not on a beach we were able to snorkel in the water right next to the cliffs. There was so much life in the rocks. Next time we go somewhere tropical we are going to buy a waterproof cover for the camera. These pictures at least show some of the rocks under the water. The water is much deeper than it looks!
The Rockhouse is in Negril, which is on the West coast of Jamaica, so we saw some amazing sunsets. Here are just a few of our sunset photos.
Alright, well that is enough for now. I will most likely be posting some more pictures in the next day or two. We took over 250 pictures down there. It is so hard to just pick out a few to post!
